MAVCO performed the design and installation of this project. This included the largest electronic voting system in the Western Hemisphere, second only to the United Nations. The system was designed to replace the manual voting system used for over three hundred years. This system so radically changed the Dominican parliamentary process that an amendment to the constitution was required to accept computerized voting. The system included broadcast TV station, TV and Radio feeds, voting display boards ethernet data system, simultaneous interpretation and large screen video projection systems.
