June 2011

• MAVCO becomes a certified Polycom dealer for Video and Infrastructure. MAVCO is also now certified to offer Polycom products to the Federal government. 'We are very excited about becoming certified to offer Polycom products, this adds to our product portfolio and positions us in an even stronger position when offering video conferencing solutions'

May 2011

• MAVCO contracted at the Nova Southeastern Oceanographic Institute for full control systems and Video Conferencing Solutions.
• Contracted at Tulsa, OK Federal Court to install all technology in major courtroom, which includes major control system technology.
• MAVCO contracted for Las Vegas, NV to integrate Video Conferencing and technology solutions in large courtrooms. MAVCO is extremely proud to be awarded with major Federal Court contracts, including Las Vegas, Wichita, Tulsa and Wheeling. We have worked hard to become an authorized provider for the Federal Court system.

April 2011

• RCI Voyager of the Seas, MAVCO has been contracted to upgrade and replace the Broadcast Pan Tilt Zoom camera systems which are used in their main performance venues.
• NCL Dawn Drydock MAVCO recently completed on time and budget several major entertainment system renovation projects onboard the NCL Dawn during May 2011. These renovations included the creation on a new Aft Lounge which MAVCO work closely with NCL to redesign a new entertainment system using the existing equipment which was removed from two other venue that we demolished. Other system upgrades where QAM head end in the Broadcast Center for digital broadcast and additions of playback servers. Also Pool Deck LED lights – Atrium Sound System – Pub Sound & Light system
• MAVCO wins contract for Wichita, KS Federal Court to install all Video Conferencing/Technology solutions and control systems.

March 2011

• MAVCO exhibits in Seatrade convention at Miami Convention Center MAVCO showcase the Entertainment System onboard the NCL Epic at Seatrade 2011. MAVCO recent achievement was designing, supplying and installing the complete Entertainment Systems for Norwegian Cruise Line New vessel which delivered in July 2010. With the notable mention that USA Today has voted this vessel the Best Entertainment at Sea we are very proud of our work on this vessel and we wanted to show case that work at Seatrade.
• MAVCO preforms the final commissioning and optimizations of the South Dade Performance Art Cultural Center.

• 

  MAVCO participates in cruise convention motorcycle charity ride in Florida MAVCO rides and sponsors Cruise Shipping Miami 2010 Charity Motorcycle Ride. Second year running MAVCO participates in force with John Timinsky, President and Mike Lacy Vp of Operations riding for Charity. We are happy to be part of this Charitable event and look forward to the ride each year.
• MAVCO completes University of Miami Wellness Center MAVCO completes work on University of Miami Wellness Center. MAVCO designs and installs AV systems to support and enhance the work out experience for the students. This project consist of distributed audio throughout their new fitness areas, Spinning and Exercise rooms along with the installation of LCD TV’s at each fitness machine.
• MAVCO is contracted for Wheeling, WV bankruptcy court With the expansion of MAVCO’s markets, MAVCO has been award the contract to provide Audio Visual systems for the US Bankruptcy Court of Wheeling West Virginia. “We are very proud and excited to have been qualified and awarded a blanked purchase order agreement to supply and install Audio Visual System to the US Federal Courts system. We feel that our expertise in engineering, fabrication and ability to deploy our systems around the world will service us well on this new vertical market.
• MAVCO awarded contract for entertainment system upgrades for Norwegian Dawn MAVCO has been awarded the contract to provide details design, equipment supply and installation services for NCL up and coming dry dock in Freeport Bahamas. During this dry dock MAVCO will be an instrumental part of creating a new Aft Lounge on this vessel along with upgrading of several existing venues.

February 2011

• MAVCO completes the renovation of the Crandon Park Tennis Facility TV head end system from analogue to digital in time for the Sony Ericsson Tennis Open.
• MAVCO preforms the final commissioning and optimizations of the South Dade Performance Art Cultural Center.

January 2011

• MAVCO helps Palmetto Bay City’s city council meeting go live in their new town hall building as it comes on-line.

December 2010:

• Awarded the entertainment systems design/build for the NCL BREAKAWAY project, 2 cruise vessels with options for two more vessels at Meyer Werft Shipyard, Papenburg, Germany. This contract award builds on the very successful design/build project MAVCO did for NCL on the NORWEGIAN EPIC, the critically acclaimed “best entertainment at sea” cruise vessel.
• Awarded the broadcast center systems design/build for the Celebrity SOLISTICE ship number 5. MAVCO continues in it delivery of a full digital broadcast center for the Celebrity SOLSTICE class of vessel. MAVCO delivered SOLSTICE 1 to 4 broadcast center systems and continues with ship number five.

October 2010:

• FAU – installed latest in sound processing from Dolby® digital cinema system in four multi-media theatres at FAU Arts and Letters building Boca Main Campus
• Commissioning Nortel/BATELCO AV training rooms
• NCL Sky and NCL Dawn audio mixing console upgrade
